OUR SERVICES

Effective November 1, 2018 with the implementation of the Ontario Police Record Checks Reform Act, there are changes to criminal record checks allowed for youth and to the types of record checks that will be offered by the Aylmer Police Service.

Among the key reforms for the public, businesses and social service organizations are:

1) Police record checks for anyone under the age of 18 will ONLY be conducted when it is for employment or to volunteer with a municipal, provincial or federal government department/ministry or agency.

2) Provisions under the Police Record Checks Reform Act, prohibit police services from providing the results of any type of record check for someone under the age of 18 to any non-government of employer or organization.

The following services are available to the public to assist in with employment ,business, and safety needs.
