News Release – Breach of Emergency Orders – Charges Laid

Breach of Emergency Orders Investigation:

On the 20th of April 2021 at 8:18 pm., the Aylmer Police Service received a public complaint advising of a large gathering at the Church of God Restoration, John St. N Aylmer ON.

At approximately 8:30 pm., Officers responded to the complaint and observed 18 vehicles parked on the lot. While the officers were dealing with two individuals on the parking lot, a group of 18 persons were observed exiting the church building. It was noticed that none of the individuals were wearing masks or social distancing.

As a result of the investigation; 42 year old male from North York, 41 year old female from Scarborough, 34 year old male from Aylmer and a 20 year old male from Aylmer were charged with; ROA 10(1) Individual – fail to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order. Investigation is on going and further charges are pending.
